Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") govern the use of Hoshoko (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Relationship with Apple
These Terms are concluded solely between the Operator and the User, and not with Apple Inc. (hereinafter "Apple"). The Operator is solely responsible for the Licensed Application and its content, and Apple bears no responsibility.
You acknowledge that these Terms do not provide for usage rules for the Licensed Application that conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions as of the Effective Date, and that Apple is not responsible for the content of these Terms.

3. App Overview
This App is an application for scanning warranty documents and receipts for appliances and furniture with AI-OCR and managing them digitally, including warranty expiration notifications.

4. Consent and Scope of Application
By downloading, installing, or using this App, you agree to all terms of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this App.
Users under the age of 13 may not use this App.
5. Conditions of Use
To use this App, you must meet the following conditions:
- You must be at least 13 years old
- You must agree to these Terms
- You must have an internet connection and a compatible device
6. Scope of License
The Operator grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license.
The license granted to you for the Licensed Application is limited to a non-transferable license to use the Licensed Application on any Apple-branded Products that you own or control and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that such Licensed Application may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with the purchaser via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
This App is provided "AS IS" without any warranty.
Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in the following activities:
- Reverse engineering, disassembling, or decompiling this App
- Modifying, altering, or translating this App
- Copying, distributing, or selling this App
- Using this App for unlawful purposes
- Infringing the rights of others (intellectual property rights, privacy rights, etc.)
- Acting to the detriment or discomfort of the Operator or others
- Violating laws or public order and morals
- Transmitting computer viruses or distributing harmful programs
- Attempting to compromise the security of this App
7. Maintenance and Support
The Operator is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application, as specified in these Terms, or as required under applicable law. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application.
8. Data Handling
All data collected by this App is stored on the device's local storage. Currently, no data is transmitted to external servers.

9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to this App and its contents (designs, logos, text, images, code, etc.) belong to the Operator or the legitimate rights holder.
Rights to data entered by users into this App (product information, images, etc.) belong to the users.
Third-Party Intellectual Property Claims
In the event of any third party claim that the Licensed Application or your possession and use of that Licensed Application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, the Operator, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
10. Disclaimer
This App is provided "AS IS" without any warranty, express or implied. Specifically, the Operator makes no warranties regarding the following:
- The accuracy, reliability, or usefulness of this App
- Whether this App meets your requirements
- The uninterrupted or error-free operation of this App
- The accuracy of information provided through this App
- Security or virus-free nature
Apple's Refund Responsibility
In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the Licensed Application to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Licensed Application, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be the Operator's sole responsibility.
Operator's Disclaimer
The Operator shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages (including lost profits, data loss, or device damage) resulting from the use of this App, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the Operator.
11. Product Claims
You and the Operator acknowledge that the Operator, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims of yours or any third party relating to the Licensed Application or your possession and/or use of that Licensed Application, including, but not limited to:
- product liability claims
- any claim that the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement
- claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation, including in connection with the Licensed Application's use of the HealthKit and HomeKit frameworks
These Terms may not limit the Operator's liability to you beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
12. Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that:
- you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country
- you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties
13. Third Party Terms of Agreement
You must comply with applicable third party terms of agreement when using this App, e.g., if you have a VoIP application, then you must not be in violation of your wireless data service agreement when using this App.
14. Third Party Beneficiary
You and the Operator acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third party beneficiary thereof.
15. Limitation of Liability
Except in cases of the Operator's gross negligence or willful misconduct, the maximum amount of liability the Operator shall bear for this App shall be the total amount of usage fees paid by the user to this App in the most recent three months (or 1,000 yen if the said amount is less than 1,000 yen).
16. Usage Fees
Basic features of this App are available free of charge. If paid features are added in the future, users will be notified in advance.
17. Changes to Terms
The Operator may change these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will become effective upon posting to this page.
By continuing to use this App, you agree to the revised Terms.
18. Termination of Service
The Operator may suspend or terminate the provision of all or part of this App without prior notice. In such cases, users may terminate the use of the service by uninstalling this App.
When the service is terminated, all user data will be deleted from the device.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Japanese law.
Any disputes related to this App shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Chiba District Court or Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
